What is DPIL?


​Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is a book gifting program that mails FREE, high-quality bilingual books to children from birth to age five, no matter their family’s income.

Parent Involvement Tips

Read Aloud 15 Minutes Each Day
​We love promoting good reading habits for parents, caregivers, and their little ones. When your child gets their Imagination Library books, we encourage you to do the following::
  • Begin reading to your child immediately
  • Read to your child at least five days per week
  • Read books multiple times
Snuggle, ask questions, notice letters, make sounds, have fun!
