WHY IT MATTERS?
When students miss key learning milestones, the effects can ripple through their future—limiting opportunities, confidence, and long-term success. For those already facing systemic barriers, the need for early support is even more critical. That’s why Learning Academy was created: a 4-week summer intensive program designed to close learning gaps and unlock lasting academic growth.

TARGETED INSTRUCTION. REAL RESULTS.
Learning Academy creates real change by offering over 100 hours of personalized instruction in small, focused classrooms. Courses are individually tailored to the needs of our learners, from 2nd and 3rd grade reading and foundational math to middle school mathematics and writing support for English language learners. This intentional approach not only strengthens academic skills—it builds confidence, sparks curiosity, and opens the path to lasting success.

Enrichment Programs

Our enrichment programs at BASIC's summer Learning Academy is more than just a creative outlet—it's a lifeline. These programs help students develop crucial coping skills, boosts their self-esteem, and fosters a strong sense of community. All of these benefits lay a solid foundation for mental health and well-being, which in turn drives success in the classroom. Together, we’re not just exploring and making art; we’re building brighter futures.
